Last weekend, nearly 24 inches of rain fell over western Tennessee forcing the Cumberland river out of it's banks. The result was major flooding. It seems most of the attention has been on Nashville, but I'm sure there were a lot of areas affected along the river too. Here are a few pictures of the event. Click on any picture for a full size view. In the first two pictures, trucks are trying to cross an overpass on Interstate 24. I guess these truckers have never heard the saying, "Turn Around. don't Drown."
