Coldest Morning... So far

A nice day today. There was a lot of sunshine and mild temperatures after a very cold start to the morning. At 1:30am the temperature had dropped to 10 degrees above zero. This was the coldest temperature so far this winter season. Previously, the coldest temperature was 12 above back in early December. I think it was December... I'll have to look. Anyway, after the cold start we quickly warmed into the low 40's with a high of 42 degrees. We still have snow on the ground, except for those hillsides that face the south. I have a cool visible satellite image to post that shows the snow cover across the Midwest, but I'll have to add that later.
