Snow Flurries

Interstate 65 South of Louisville, KY is closed due to a massive train derailment and fire. Several of the cars contain liquid propane. The smoke is now rising about 6,000 feet which is effecting Louisville Int'l Airport traffic. The accident occurred around 8:45am EST but because NW winds were blowing the smoke over the interstate, it remains closed at this time.

On to todays weather. It certainly feels like January now. Winds have been brisk out of the NW today with flurries and snow showers this morning. The flurries amounted to maybe a .25". All surfaces were covered, but was being blown around on the road by the winds.
