Dry Weather Continues

The dry weather across the region continues. Burn bans in some areas of the state have been lifted, but Franklin county continues to enforce a ban. This week will likely see a few days with red flag warnings issued due to low humidity, warm temperatures, and breezy southwest winds. Most of the upcoming week will see temperatures in the mid and upper 60's. I won't be a bit surprised to see some areas reaching the low 70's. We are one quarter of the way through the month with only 0.02" of precipitation so far. Long range forecasts continue to hint at a turn to stormier conditions.

Off topic, but a large fire began in Connersville, Indiana this afternoon around 3pm. The building is part of an old industrial complex on the corner of 16th and Western Ave. The building that is on fire last housed Creative Fixtures Inc. The building is also attached to Superior Chemical building. The fire has so far been kept away from the south end of the building where the chemical business is located.
