Snow Potential and Cold

The HPC has put most of central Indiana in the 10% risk category for receiving at least 4 inches of snow overnight an on into Thursday morning. The area outlined in green has a 40% chance of receiving at least 4 inches of snow.

This morning's low of -1F (-18C), was the coldest low since the winter of '08-'09 (January 16, 2009) when the low temperature was -11F (-24C). The lowest temperature in the winter of '09-'10 was 0F. Hopefully, this is a sign of what is to come later on in the winter. :-)
