It's hot and only getting hotter. A heat advisory has been issued for Friday and encompassing the entire state. Temperatures should reach 95F (35C) with heat index values reaching 105F (41C). In addition to the heat, two small tornadoes touched down in Johnson county in the past two days. Both tornadoes were rated at EF0 which is the weakest type, but still some slight damage occurred.
