It was unexpected, but the season's first snowfall came early this morning and through the rest of the day. About an inch and a half of snow fell today in a persistent light snow. It was enough snow to cover everything in a nice white blanket making all the Christmas decorations look that much more festive. Now we just need to keep the snow coming through March. :-)
There were a few travel problems as with every first snow, but nothing serious. Common sense prevents so much.
