Cooler and Cloudy

Below is a cool image of contrail shadows on the low clouds over western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. The contrails come from jet planes flying high above the low clouds. The shadows are cast onto the low clouds below, and the visible satellite image is picking up the shadows on the low clouds. Something cool for a day with uneventful weather.

Morning lows weren't as low as forecast this morning. Skies remained cloudy overnight preventing radiational cooling.
