Tis' the Season for Mud

The January thaw is in full swing this week. All of the snow from the past couple of weeks is now gone and all that is left behind are big piles of dirty snow in parking lots and along the streets. I'll bet this time of year is the bread and butter of car wash sales! Temperatures this week have been around 44F (6C) in the afternoons. Fog has been an issue the last two nights and freezing fog will be an issue tonight.
Looking ahead, this upcoming week will be unsettled with light rain and mild temperatures. The models are indicating though that the cold will return around the 25th and by the 1st of February temperatures will be very cold again. Hopefully, we can get some really good snowstorms in February. So far our winter has been very dull.
