I haven't posted in a while since the weather has been quite boring. It's been mild, damp, and cloudy this past week. Thursday morning though we all awoke to a surprise glaze of ice on the roadways prompting many of the area schools to close for the day. By noon though on Thursday, the ice was gone and temperatures were around 38F (3C).
This weekend has been the warmest since December 14, 2009. Today, the high temperature reached 51F (11C) with rain. Tomorrow promises a return to more winter like temperatures with temperatures falling to near freezing by 5pm with snow showers.
The upcoming week should see much colder temperatures and hopefully more snow. Time will tell though.
