Surprise Snowfall

I don't think any of the forecasters had anticipated the snow that developed Monday afternoon into the evening. Up to 3" of snow fell across the area with the heaviest being in west central Indiana near Crawfordsville. Locally, I estimate an inch or less of snow has fallen. It was enough snow though to close some schools across the area and delay the start of many. The next storm to impact the area will begin Wednesday night. However, I've heard some forecasters say it will be Thursday night into Friday. I guess we'll just wait and see.
