This is a photo of Reiboldt Road in the northwest corner of Franklin County. You can see that the drifts are about 4-5 feet deep. Yesterday, a snow plow was trying to clear the road and got stuck. I'm sure there are a lot of roads that look just like this or even worse across the area.A new storm is taking shape and is predicted to be in the area Sunday afternoon and evening. At this point, the potential for 5-6 inches of snow exists. Will that amount actually fall? I don't know. I've seen some model forecasts take the snow through Kentucky while others bring the heaviest snowfall through our area. If there's going to be a significant accumulating snow across the area, the NWS in Wilmington or Indianapolis will likely issue a winter storm watch by Friday evening. I really hope we get another 5 or 6 inches of snow.
