More Rain

Looks like we could see another 3/4 to an inch of rain over the next 24 hours. The HPC has the entire state, nearly, in bulls eye for another soaking rain. This time though, it won't be ending with any snow.

Thursday night was quite interesting as the heavy rain pushed across the area, the cold air was able to catch up and change the rain to sleet and snow. It was quite heavy too. Snow accumulated to about 1.5 inches on most surfaces. The snow was wet too. Although it had been 60F at 3:30pm Thursday afternoon, the snow was still heavy enough and the temperature low enough to cause some slippery roads. School was delayed 2 hours on Friday morning due to the icy roads.
